Thank you for your interest in my mustang. This is a clean title 351W car equipped with the fmx automatic transmission and 9” rear differential. It is a true candy apple red mach 1 with its original drivetrain. This car was last registered in 1996 and sat in a family friend’s driveway until I bought it in 2007 and moved it into a garage where it’s sat until recently. From what I gather this car was originally owned by a teacher that taught at my high school and picked up by someone later on that tried their hand at a restoration with a lot of body filler where the rust is bad. A family friend picked it up from them years later and held on to it until selling it to me 10 years ago. This car fired right up and drove home. Recently I had to move this car to my back yard and as you can see, I no longer have room for it.
Please look at all the pictures so you know exactly what you are getting. Most of the car is there, the trunk is full of extra parts. The engine is fine and will run with a battery. The transmission works fine as well but leaks fluid so in order to shift it will need fluid. This car is rusty underneath and will need a full restoration including floor pans, quarter panels, door skins, rockers, trunk lid, etc. This car would be great for someone with welding skills wanting a real sportsroof mustang.
The seats were reupholstered sometime in the 90’s I believe but they have hardly been used and still look good. It has the optional fold down rear seats. I believe the engine was refreshed at the same time as well.
