1969 Camaro DZ302 Z28\'s are getting to be a hard find. This particular one is no exception. This car still retains its numbers matching engine and transmission. Additionally, ownership has been traced back to the original owners that purchased the car right here in our home state of Michigan. The original Protect-O-Plate will also be included with the purchase of this legendary Camaro.
Very few mechanical mods have been done to the car over the years, other than the properly mounted Dash Tach (DOES NOT MOUNT THROUGH THE DASH OR DASH PAD) that was installed using a specific bracket that fastens under the dash pad. This car was originally optioned without the center console so a Oil Pressure and Temp Gauge were mounted below the dash. A slightly larger rear BF Goodrich TA tire was installed in the rear to give the car a great nostalgic muscle car look, feel and stance. To add to that look and feel the car was given a set of traction bars as well. The Factory DZ302 has the correct snowflake intake, air induction breather and most importantly the factory double hump heads. Headers and a Holley 4-Barrel carb were added to increase fuel/air supply and exhaust flow.
Being a true Z28 this Camaro carries the X77 trim tag code and originally sported a fathom green exterior with green interior. The car went through a very extensive repaint several years ago and still shows amazing today. Body lines are fantastic and gaps look great! The body is very straight and the beautiful black paint shows a great deal of depth and lays flat on the car. The black paint with silver \"Z28 Stripes\" is arguably one of the coolest contrasting color combos for this model year Camaro; even if its not original.
