Up for sale is a 1968 Satellite Sport convertible that has been sitting in the same spot for the last few years ij my garage. Originally bought as a convertible superbird project, like may projects, they get outgrown before there is time to get to them all. This was one of them. The car is in pretty good shape considering its age but does have its visible issues, like the missing section someone started to replace in the drivers side back quarter. It does not run, but I never tried it. When I bought it, the motor turned by hand I was told but dont have the ability to test it. I have enclosed a picture of the original window tag which lists what this car came with and has. I am told the stripe is what sets this car apart. It is an on the floor automatic. The convertible top is as you see it, I truly know nothing of convertibles The frame rails are rusted but repairable and mostly intact by the pictures. The floors seem in average to poor shape with holes evident for a convertible this old. I did nothing to the car since I got it, so all the pieces you see scattered in the car go with the car including the trim pieces in the trunk. It has an extra hood at no cost if you are inclined to take it with. Please look carefully at the pictures, there is too much to describe on this one in terms of its condition and needs. On Mar-20-18 at 06:08:57 PDT, seller added the following information: Small scratch to front hood edge and aluminium headlight bezel on right from motor stand bumping it yesterday. Very very minor and I would not even mention it it is so minor but had to include it cause was not in the original picture, is visible and I keep my auctions accurate. My auctions are \'As Is\' so I like to be completely transparent. Will send you a picture if you need but it is the least thing that needs fixing on this resto project lol. If you would like a picture of the spare hood as well, let me know. It fits the car and is different than the other hood, much sportier. It has inserts for the right and left side on top. Not sure what it is from.
