I purchasedthis vehicle in good running condition and because of watching “Overhauling”; Ifoolishly dismantled the car to do a ‘Restoration’! I had the fenders, doors, hood and trunk alldipped to bare metal. The Trunk lid hadsome bad rust areas, so I bought a replacement and had that dipped also. I dismantled the motor and sent it out to amachine shop for inspection and freshening, it is in great condition. I had the transmission completelyrebuilt. I have replacement floor panpatches for the front and patch panels for the lower corners of the rearwindow. The K member and several otherparts have been powder-coated. In otherwords, I got in over my head and have run out of money and patience….my lose, your gain!!
