This car is one of only 271 1968 Dodge Dart GTS convertible automatic ever produced. It is very rare.
Production date is November 30th, 1967.
The VIN is LS27P8B215207.
This is the first year with the 340 engine in a DartGTS.
The 340 engine is dated June 19th, 1967 with Cartercarburator and a 1968 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission. Both are periodcorrect.
The rear end is an eight and three-quarter sure gripwith 3:23 gear.
There are a power steering, disk brakes with boosterand concealed electronic ignition.
This car had a frame-off restoration in 1997, andsince then, the paint had few chips touched up.
The power convertible top is new with a very smallpinhole that was repaired.
The original color of this car is triple green as it isnow. Interior trim, seats, mag wheel covers, turn signals hood/fender and therare nose grill are in perfect condition.
The radio has the appearance of the original AM radiobut has been converted FM and works really well. The added tachometer works.
Red line tires P215/70R14 are virtually new.
The exhausts’ rumble sound is incomparable!
Mileage indicated is 54 764 miles.
This car is rock solid, reliable, drives excellent andcan go anywhere at the turn of the key.
