This 1968 AMX is a blastto drive and this auction is your opportunity to get in on the fun.
This car comes from NewMexico is mostly original. It has neverhad any rust. It has original sheetmetal with no patchwork. It wasrepainted in 1996 by the second owner and driven only occasionally sincethen. The paint remains very presentable. The floors are rock solid. The trim and bumpers are straight in reallynice shape.
Even though it has notbeen driven much recently, the original 390 runs strong and sound great. The Edelbrock breather and carburetor areobviously not stock but we have the originals to come with the car. A Malory ignition was installed but we havethe original distributor to come with the car. The clutch and 4 speed manual transmission arefine.
It also has power brakesand tilt wheel. The dash tag shows number 4206
The original spare withcanister are still with the car.
The driver’s seat has a crack. The passenger side dash also has a tiny crackthat is hard to notice.
