This is a 1968 amx that was a 390 auto car from the factory that i think was originally matador red ? Dash number 4434 .No longer has door tag but has dash pad that matches the 1968 clear title.
There is NO engine NO trans NO radiator NO drive line NO battery NO crag er mag wheels that were pictured in my friends garage before i bought the car. HE KEEP THESE and even though they are pictured they are NOT INCLUDED in the sale because i don\'t have them. It is on roller steel wheels for transportation to your location.

This is a clone of one car that amc executive Dick Te ages had built in 1971 to continue the 2 seater but amc decided to use the amx as a package on the 4 seat javelin.
The paint is a 8-9 but could have had a little better body work on passenger door and does have a fiberglass rear pass side quarter panel because the builder of the car couldn\'t find steel ones which i still don\'t think they repop them now. He also made the mold for the special hood scoop which i have been offered $1000.00 for hood only. A hood front chrome piece only just sold for $800.00 here on ebay. They painted the front blue ? strip over existing pin striping. There is a very small rust pop up on the d/s trunk lid on very lower corner. Not very noticeable.
The under side of the car has no rust that i can see and no holes or any that are starting.
It is set up as a race car with a roil bar that is not NHRA approved.It has a very nice 1969 dash with a o my GOD handle on passenger side for passenger would hold onto if he had a seat to sit in. [No passenger seat ].I has new tan headliner and door panels and new carpet in the box for you to install. It also has a tilt column with a pin to pull to use quick release steering wheel.
It only has wiring to run the engine. [ no turn singles heater wipers etc].
The rear end has summers brothers single piece axles with long studs and posse.I am not sure what gear ratio. It also has a latter bar ? rear suspension and drive line loop .
It also has a fuel cell and elec fuel pump. And new Kelsey Hays single piston power disk brakes.
The front core support has been modified to be removable for easy engine and trans removable. The engine cross member also has been modified for big oil pan.
I think you could bolt on a 68 front end with no problem.
I do sell on Portland Oregon Craig\'s list and will end any add there once i get one bid here.
If i keep the car i will put a 454 chev and turbo 400 i already have .
It is located in Vancouver Wa 98686 and i will set aside a 2 hour time to help your shipper load it.Any additional 2 hour times needed will be prepaid at $100.00 for each time. The last car i sold took 5 times and i don\'t take off work that pays me to work for you for free.
These 2 seat cars are starting to cost upwards of $20000.00- $50000.00 FOR NICE ONES. If you find a rust free project one for $5000.00 you will still have to paint it [ $10000.00 and do interior work another $5000.00.
Just put engine and trans and radiator and battery and a nice set of wheels on it and you will have something different than every one else.
Some people are putting Chevrolet engines in these now because they are more common and cost less than amc.
It had a amc 401 and 727 in it before i bought it.
DARE TO BE DIFFERENT .
It is a sad day here in the couve. All American Classics just crushed 30 of its 37 acres of cars. Mostly 60s and early 70s stuff. The amc cars went first along with comets falcons mustangs galaxies etc.
This will affect the cost of hard to find parts in our area and maybe across the country.
As i have been saying for the last 5 years get it now or maybe never.
You could not even paint this car for what i am asking.
