Rare 1966 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight convertible. V8 425 that starts, runs and drives ok and no leaks. Recent repairs include a complete new braking system, including the pads, lines, master cylinder and brake booster. New trunk floor pan and frame rails. New gas tank, complete new exhaust system including cross over pip, muffler and rear tailpipe. Floor boards repaired and new carpeting installed. The car was painted from its original color of white, the paint is in fair/poor condition and there is rust on the doors and parts of the body and body repairs/filler. The underside has rust, but looks solid, the rails were replaced. The white top and rear window are dirty, but in good shape and fits tight with only one small tear. The electric top is not functioning, it can be put up and down manually, but parts are included (unsure if they are okay). The driver’s seat has a split at the seam (easy repair) and the seats are dirty, but still soft. Some of the gauges/controls work and some don’t’ I will continue to work on them. The electric windows and seat works. The headlights work, but some of the rear lights don’t. The rear bumper on the car is not the correct one and an extra one came with the car, but I don’t think it is the correct one either, but will be included in the sale. The trunk does not line up or latch, but I am having it looked at. This car also has the rare tilt and telescoping steering wheel. Included in the sale are the convertible top boot, some extra parts, the owner’s manual, convertible top manual, warranty booklet and period license plates. The car also has the original Oldsmobile driver floor mat. The car has a clear Maryland title, but unsure of actualmileage.
