1966 Mercury Parklane Convertible I Believe There Were Around 2500 Of The Parklane Convertibles Built In 1966,,I Purchased The Car 2 Years Ago At The Time I Had A Few Other Projects Going So The Car Has Been In Dry Storage And Prior To That Its Was In A Warehouse Since The Late 80s So It Has Now Been Exposed To The Weather For Almost 30 YearsThe Floors Trunk And Frame Are Solid,,No Repairs Needed And No Evidence Of Ever Been Repaired Or Patched,,I Removed The Rear Seat To Put Fluid In The Top Pump And Other Than Some Surface Rust The Floors Are Very Good,,The Body Has Minor Dings,,Small Dents Scratches,,The Passenger Side Quarter Panel Has A Major Dent Probably A $500 Fix Also Evidence Of Some Previous Repairs On The Lower Quarter Panel Passenger Side But Appears To Be Surface As Inner Quarter Panels Both Sides Are Perfect,,Bumpers Look To Be Original And Shows Their Age Not Bad Considering 50 Years Old,,I Do Have The Fender Skirts,,Top Boot,,Needs A New Top,,The Top Pump Functions Properly,,Needs A New Windshield (Windshield Is Same As Ford Galaxie I See New Ones On Ebay In The $250 Range) I Believe The Car Was Originally Burgundy Paint Code W,,Has All The Original Fomoco Steel Wheels And Wire HubcapsInterior Is Original Unmolested,,Needs New Carpet,,Seats Are Good Needing A Good Cleanup,,Dash Pad Is Good 1 Small Crack,,Lights Wipers Heater All Work Radio Does Not,,Original Working Flasher Switch Still In Glove BoxEngine Appears To Be Original 410 However I Have Not Check The Numbers On The Heads And Block,Correct Intake Manifold With 1966 Part Number,,,The Engine Starts But Needs A Carburetor Rebuild Or I Would Maybe Go To An Edelbrock,,The Previous Owner Told Me The Engine Was Rebuilt And Had Little To No Miles Since Rebuild,,I Removed 1 Of The Valve Covers (Picture) And All Components Show Like New,New Fuel Pump Recently Installed,,, The Gas Tank Has A Slight Leak So I Have Used A Can For FuelingCar Is Being Sold As Is Where Is Car Will Need To Be Trailored By Buyer,,,,Car Is Available For Inspection,Zero Feedback Bidders Will Have Their Bids Cancelled,Low Feedback Contact Me Prior To Bidding,, Any Questions Call 215 932 2017
