1966 Mercury Comet CYCLONE Convertible
For sale is my 1966 Comet Cyclone. I have owned the car 3 years and havecompletely rebuilt her. She is a lowmileage original car. The owner previous to me owned the car for 32 years andtook very good care of her. Actual Mileage approx. 85,000

· 1 SET OF STRUT ROD BUSHINGS,
· 1 IMPROVED HANDLING FRONT SWAY BAR (1'' DIA),
· 1 REAR SWAY BAR WITH ALL THE MOUNTING HARDWARE (3/4''),
· 1 SET OF 4 KYB GAS ADJUST SHOCKS,
· 2 INNER TIE RODS,
· 2 OUTER TIE RODS,
· 2 TIE ROD ADJUSTING SLEEVES,
· AN IDLER ARM,
· 1 PAIR OF LEAF SPRINGS,
· 1 PAIR OF FRONT "I" BOLTS,
· 1 SET OF 4 "U" BOLTS AND
· 1 PAIR OF SHACKLES.
- Completely stripped and re paintedthe car. It was white from the factory.
- Completely replaced the faded seatcovers with new covers from the Ford source, in the factory original mediumblue color.
- Installed a fresh 302 roller motorand rebuilt C4 transmission. Both having about 500 miles now.
- The engine has an Edelbrock intake,Crane “Thumper” cam, Holley 600 and Hooker headers
- Installed a new convertible topfrom the original Ford source (in Detroit), again in the original Ford mediumblue color, with new weatherstripping. Glass rear window.
- I added the 3 gauge podin theinterior for oil pressure, charging system and temperature.
- All gauges in the dash are working.The oil pressure and temp gauges were unhooked when I added the 3 gauge system.
- I added new American Racing 17”wheels and Vogue tires, I still have the original 14” wheels and chrome reversestyle wheel covers, that will go with the sale.
- New Motorcraft battery in February

Please review the photos, it is awonderful car. It couldn’t be built for the asking price and I don’t think youwill ever find a better example.
