1966 Chevrolet Nova Coupe - V8
Do you LOVE those Chevys of the mid-1960s? Up for auction is a very nice 1966 Chevy Nova V8 Coupe. This Chevy can easily become your \"summer cruising machine!\" Please read the description carefully and email any questions you may have (mkitsock@ptd.net).
This Chevy spent most of its years in North Carolina. It is currently owned by a New York resident who purchased the car from its second owner (who had owned the car since 1969). The car is currently stored indoors at a car storage facilty in Shenandoah, PA (not far from I-81, I-80, and I-78 - eastern Pennsylvania).
The Chevy starts, runs, and stops. The car has not been \"on the road\" for many years so expect a general refreshing of mechanics to make it a roadworthy driver. The Chevy can be inspected, started, and \"yard-driven\" by contacting me at mkitsock@ptd.net.
For you Chevy experts, here is the Trim Tag:
ST 66-11637 NOR 45418TR 75A-A C-C PaintE2LR
The Chevy Nova currently has a 350 ci small block Chevy engine from a 1970 vehicle. It also has an after-market four barrel intake manifold and a four barrel Holley carburetor. I am UNSURE of the horsepower rating.
The transmission is a Muncie four-speed manual and seems to shift well. I am unsure if the tranny is a M20, M21, or M22.
Recently the owner hired a mechanic and vintage Chevy expert to \"check out\" and evaluate the car. He is a former employee of Bill \"Grumpy\" Jenkins of Jenkin\'s Performance. Here are some of his notes:
1. Very solid body, good lines, and decent older paint.2. Interior is newer but not done exact as Factory.3. There is evidence that the rear trunk pan was replaced.4. There is evidence that some work was done on the A-pillars.
Please email me if you have any interest in this car or, better, yet, stop by to inspect the car personally - mkitsock@ptd.net. The Chevy has alegally transferrable New York registration. As a 52 year old car, it is being sold AS IS/WHERE IS with NO warranty expressed or implied.
The owner reserves the right to end the auction early as the car is advertised for sale locally.

On May-28-18 at 06:18:31 PDT, seller added the following information:

*** PLEASE NOTE: This Chevy Nova has a front clip from a 1967 Nova. I am told that this was fairly common years ago. PLEASE consider this BEFORE bidding on this car! I am not the owner, and I do NOT want to mis-represent the car is any way! Mike
