1965 Pontiac LeMans Convertible
Youonly have a few chances in life to go after the one you love that you let go.For the collector who owns this car, and my friend, a 1965 LeMans Convertiblewas the car he courted his wife with and drove around for a few years as theywere dating. As life moved on, he regrettably sold their prized convertibleLeMans to buy a van to fit his needs when he was renovating his home. He neverforgot about that car and vowed to one day buy another blue on blueconvertible. It took him 38 years to find the perfect car, this car. When hehad seen this one in 2014, he knew it was fate and was not going to leavewithout buying it. He found his long lost love of years gone past. Now severalyears later, he sadly has to sell due to health reasons and asked me to list hecar for sale for him. It is now your chance to be the care taker of a car thatwas so loved.
This LeMans was originally purchased on June9th, 1965 at Esler Pontiac in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. This Pontiac is in remarkable condition and ismostly original to boot. The body isvery straight. I was told it retains its original sheetmetal. The paint wasdone a few years back (original color) but still shows very well. The chromeand trim are in excellent shape. The engine compartment was kept in originalclean condition to keep this an honest survivor car. The underside is the same,clean and original. Even the interior is original including the carpet. New seatfoam was installed in the original seats but the covers are factory still. Thewhite convertible top is new. This Pontiac looks as nice in person as it doesin these pictures. It is a numbers matching car from the engine, to thetransmission, and the rear.
Mechanically, this car is sound as well. Youwould be able to drive it from South Carolina to anywhere in the country withconfidence. The owner is the type of guy who likes to use and enjoy his toys sothey have to be in top working condition.
