1965 Olds Jetstar 88, it has the 330 engine and two speedtransmission both of which work fine, turn the key and drive, this has been mysons daily driver for a couple of years no oil leaks or burning, idles smooth,trans shifts well during that time he has owned it he has replaced many parts,the carburetor, alternator, battery, upper radiator hose, and heater core, newgas shocks it was tuned up about two thousand miles ago, When he purchased thecar the brakes were bad from sitting, so he flushed the system, replaced themaster cylinder and several brake lines, the front wheel cylinders wererebuilt, new shoes and hardware were also put in the front, he also replacedthe outer tie rod ends and the idler arm at the same time, the reardifferential had a small bearing noise so he had the rear end rebuiltprofessionally with all new bearings and seals, new lines, wheel cylinders,brake shoes, hardware and drums at the same time he had the driveshaft professionallyrebuilt and balanced with new u joints. The tires have about five thousandmiles on them and are in good shape, there are some older chrome wheels on italso, the AM radio works but the speaker is bad so no sound comes out, when hehooked up a remote speaker it worked as it should the vacuum operated remotetrunk release in the glove box operates as it should The exhaust is in need ofreplacement The trunk floor is solid,the interior floors are just as solid the carpeting is in good shape, but the seatcovers need replacing there is minor rust thru on the bottoms of both fendersand quarter panels the doors look solid as do the rocker panels, 90% of thiscar is original paint with only part of the hood and the top of the passengerquarter panel being repainted MANY years ago,car has great patina and is arunning driving car with old school style for the price of a honda beater
