As to myself, I am a (68)year old kid that loves muscle cars. For my work, I am retired from managing aCorrectional Facility here in Maine and had worked for the Maine Department ofCorrections for (40) years. I am also a respected member of my community. Imention this only because of the value of this car and so that prospectivebuyers will have some idea as to who they are dealing with. The divot in the front grille was stretched to the headlights, theactual lights have a more dominant enclosure, the rear once again has a quarterpanel bubble, the hood has a pop-up latch and a wind-split, and it has a temperedrear plate glass window. This was the year Impala set the all-time industryannual sales record with more than 1 million units sold in America.
Today, the Tenth GenerationImpalas (2014-present) are still being sold. Withthe launching of the next generationBuick LaCrosse, Chevrolet willmove on to the next generation Impala to thesame P2XX platformin 2019 as a 2020 model, with GM’s new LGX 3.6Engine and 9 Speed Transmission. GM’s 3.0 LGW Twin-Turbo Engine andAll-Wheel-Drive may be available for High-Performance variant.
