I am selling my 1964Plymouth Valiant Signet. It’s a beautiful, two-door convertible. Great fordriving with the top down on a Summer day. Unfortunately, I just don’t get theopportunity to drive it enough to be worth maintaining, so I am passing it on. Thecar has 147,254 miles on it, and has only been driven 1,300 miles since Ibought it nine years ago. Its external frame is in flawless condition, and has been garagekept since I bought it. All parts of the car’s body are original, other than itspaint, which was professionally redone several years ago. Its has no rust, which is aremarkable feat for its age. It also has been retrofitted with seat belts.
Under the hood, the Valiant boasts the legendary Slant-6 engine. While notbuilt for drag racing, the 6-cylinder engine is extremely durable and has reasonable gas mileage. With regards to transmission, 1964 was a particularly historicyear for the Valiant, as it was the last year that it was equipped withautomatic push button controls. It starts, runs, and drives smoothly on the highway, with no shaking or rattling.
The Car is sold \"as is\". Ideally, I\'dlike for this to be pickup only. However, I am willing towork with a shipper somewhat, so long as it is fully financially covered by thebuyer.
