You are looking at a 1963 Studebaker E7 long bed pickup. Thistruck has only 41,000 original miles. Myfriend bought this truck from a museum in 1998. I droveit back from Longview Texas to San Antonio.We cruised it around San Antonio for a few years until he lost interestin it. Then it sat under a carport untila couple years ago until it got pushed out to make room for another car. The truck is loaded with options thatinclude; chrome grill, 289 v8 w/overdrive, heater, cigarette lighter, slidingrear window, am radio that still works,4.10 rear diff, padded dash that is in mint condition, twotone seat cover that has started to split.I have done a complete brake job including all new wheel cylinders, newmaster cylinder, flushed all the lines, and new brake hoses. The shoes were in very good condition so I leftthem in. I put a new fuel pump and rebuilt the carburetor. It starts right upwithout any smoke or funny noises. Althoughthe truck is drivable the tires are very dry rotted, and wouldn’t go very far without replacing them. The truck is very rust free except for thesill plates under the doors. This damagehappened when it lost it’s space under the carport. The floorboards are very solid. I encourage anyone who is bidding on it tocome and look at it before the auction ends.Although it runs good, the water pump has started leaking from the weephole. This truck would be an easy restoration as there is not one missingoriginal bolt! I am listing this auctionwith no reserve to find it a new home.Good luck bidding!
