Here is a really well built pro touring style classic. All the elements are here that make it a nice performer and creature comforts for those long haul road trips.
This Ranch Wagon has been updated from front to rear. Previous owner was a very talented car builder. He took a 1997 Mustang and removed fenders, hood, & grille. He cut across front floor pan. He then moved back over to Fairlaine and made same cut across front floor pan. Then removed dash, firewall, inner fenders, & suspension. Then brought the complete Mustang front suspension, inner fenderwells, firewall, engine, transmission, dash, all wiring harness components, and masterfully joined the two classic together as one !!! You will be impressed with craftsmanship.
Ice cold Air conditioning, Power steering, Power brakes. Brand new tires. Front Cooper Zeon 225/40/17. Rear Nitto NT 555R 315/35/R17 Competition DOT Drag Radials. Wheels are American Classic 5-spokes.4-wheel disc brakes. Front rotors are drilled/slotted performance units.
Interior has been very professionally. 1997 Mustang bucket seat were used. He had the seat backs cut down so they look as if they were installed in 1963. Then everything was done in a bright red. White headliner. Doors open/close correctly. Rear wagon door and glass operate smoothly. Glass has a dark tint all around.
Engine sound great. Has brand newquality custom dual exhaust that exits just behind rear tires. Car has plenty of power. Rear end of car is out of a Ford Explorer. It has been narrowed. Has 3:70 ratio gears and is posi-trac. Has rear sway bar too. There has been NO modification to rear wheel tubs. With all these modifications the car drives like it is on rails. Mustang gas tank with correct fuel pumpfor the 4.6 V-8 engine. All said this is a very, very quality build through & through.
Only issues left to update: radio & wipers not operational. No seatbelts.Windshield does have a few chips. Driver side most rear side glass is cracked. However I have a new one that comes with car.
I have taken a lot of photos to show the original paint and patina of the car.
