This is for a very Solid and straight 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 2 door Hardtop(Box Top)with great bones to build on.This is and has always been a local southern car that has been parked for the last 15 years.The ole girl cranked right up with some fresh gas and a new set of points.The 352 2 brl motor was rebuilt sometime prior to it being parked and it still runs GREAT.It doesn\'t even have a exhaust leak.No ticks,rattles or smoke.It is running off of a gallon jug under the hood,behind the grill.The gas tank will need cleaning out or replacing,I did not even mess with it.The Cruiseomatic trans shifts out fine and the fluid is very clean still.I drove it up the road to check the trans by using just the e brake.It shifted out good.The e brake will stop the car for loading and unloading.The car steers straight and the steering is fairly tight and smooth.The radiator is in Great shape and is full of antifreeze.The body is very straight and solid with only a few minor dings and dents.No Bondo that I can find.It is still wearing all its original paint underneath the primer spots.The door open and shut good.The rockers are excellent as is the hood,doors,fenders and trunk lid.The quarters look good.The frame is solid.See all photos.The floors are real good.The drivers rear has a little rust and I have a replacement rear pan that will come with the car.It will only need part of it.There is a small spot on the passenger front that can be easily patched.The front seat is still intact,but will need some new foam and a new cover.The rear seat will need recovering also.The door panels are intact and I have all arm rests.The dash is uncut.I have a new set of NOS back up delete tail lights that will come with it.There is some rust in the trunk mainly on the passenger side toward the rear,but not real bad.It can easily be patched.The rest of the trunk pan is really good.There in NO rust around the trunk or window drip rails or the windows.All the glass is good with the exception of the front windshield It has a rock chip and wiper scratches but is livable.All the side glass is good and windows rolls up and down with no issues.Doors open and shut tight and all body lines are good.I have most all of the emblems,including the sputnik grill emblem and some asst. small trim pieces,but I do NOT have the side trim,nor the rocker trim.I do have all the GALAXY letters.The missing side trim did not matter to me because I was going to build a NASCAR tribute car out of it,but my plans have changed,due to another project.****IMPORTANT****
The 4 15\"x8\" chrome magnum 500 wheels with 4 like new 245 60 15 Cooper tires,shown on the car,in the photos are available for an additional 500.00 if you want them.If you do not,the car will come with the original 14\" steel wheels,hubcaps and roller tires ONLY.Again the chrome wheels and tires shown in photos will be an additional 500.00 over the final bid!!!!This is a very nice old car and the photos speak for themselves.Whoever gets it will be very satisfied.I can NOT emphasize enough how well this car runs.The motor is sweet.**** Low RESERVE****

I have clear Alabama registration and Bill of sale in my possession.Alabama will not title any car over 35 years old,but this has never been a problem with any other state as they will recognize it and issue you a title if your state requires it.
