1962 Ford Falcon body came from Los Angeles area. Clear Texas title shows previous owner was in California.
California Falcons have very little rust. They\'re pretty pricey plus the transportation cost to Texas.
Car was built to be raced and still be legal to drive on the street. I think it has the perfect stance.
Parts on this car are either new or rebuilt. All parts that take fluids have never had fluid in them.
Car has custom jig built 2\" X 3\" full tube chassis from front to rear with racing roll cage. Tubular front A arm front end with upgraded adjustable Koni coilovers and rack & pinion.
Narrowed 9\" Ford rear end with upgraded adjustable Koni coilovers, adjustable tri - link suspension and diagonal link rod. Driveshaft loop built into chassis.
Has rebuilt 4 wheel disc brake master cylinder with rebuilt cailpers and new rotors front and rear.
Custom tube grille and polished headlight rings. Has lighted blue oval Ford emblem in center of grille. Factory Ford horn.
Custom 18 gauge sheet metal inside -- full floor, driveshaft tunnel with bell housing hump, 20\" wide tubs, new firewall and has front chassis inner fenders.
New 12 gallon fuel cell in the trunk with tubular sending unit that matches the ohms on the fuel level gauge.
GM tilt column with Grant steering wheel. New Autometer gauges in custom aluminum panel and stock Falcon gauge bezel. Gauges are wired, with turn signal, Hi Beam and Emergency brake indicators. Autometer sending units are included.
Autometer Pro Comp tach with shift light plus Winters Racing gated shifter with cable & line lock button.
Working wiper motor, towers with new seals; has interior arms and wiper arms and blades. Will work, just needs switch and to be powered.Car is set up for 460/C-6, has new Trans Dapt solid motor mounts with tubular crossmember and solid transmission mount with removable crossmember.
New 600 HP 4 row tig welded and polished aluminum radiator with electric fan and shroud. Polished stainless overflow catch can. Has water jet cut aluminum flames that are pressure sensitive taped to radiator which can be removed if desired.
Line X type bedliner coating has been sprayed on the frame, under the floor and inside the trunk. Interior floor of the car has been sprayed, and dash was sprayed as well.
All parts not coated have been painted with fresh gloss black paint. Car looks as good underneath as it does topside.
New low back cloth bucket seats and new front & rear door panels.
Car is painted in a coat of smoothed catalyzed primer, will need final bodywork, more priming and blocking before painting. Will need final adjustments on hood and trunk lid.
Outside door handles have been removed by previous owner, will need door poppers installed.
Will need brake lines, fuel lines, wiring harness and your choice of engine/transmission/driveshaft and third member. Will need axles splined and third member to finish rear end. Axles were cut and joined together to be able to move car.I will include a stock center chunk, and ring and pinion -- will need overhaul and a posi unit or spool to complete.
Has 18\" wide Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pro tires in rear, 5\" Sportsmans in front. Zero miles on them.
Custom built painted steel wheels -- 18\" wide rears, 5\" wide fronts. All new chrome lug nuts
Stock Falcon hood hood has been modified to make fake scoop functional. Also has another scoop on the bottom of the top scoop. (2 inches on the top of hood and 2 inches on the underside of the hood). I\'ve never seen this custom work done anywhere.
New front windshield and new rubber seals. Also has new vent window seals and door whiskers, weatherstrips, and trunk seal. Pro Street decals can be easily removed.
With the cost of the car, shipping from California, cost of the tube chassis, cost of the custom metal work and cost of all other the parts - you\'d have to spend $15,000.00 plus hundreds of hours labor to build this car again.
It will take $12,500.00 Firm to buy my Falcon.
Sorry, no trades.I also have a 90% complete 1963 Pro Street Tube Chassis Econoline Pickup with a mid mounted BBC/turbo 400 availablefor $22,500.00 Firm on another Ebay auction.
Thanks, and good luck in your searches.
