THIS IS A NICE RUST FREE 56 T BIRD THAT WOULD MAKE A GREAT START FOR A RESTORATION PROJECT. THE BODY AND FRAME ARE MOSTLY RUST FREE. THE BODY IS MOSTLY ALL ORIGINAL METAL EXCEPT FOR SOME MINOR RUST THAT WE HAD OUR BODY SHOP REPAIR. NO EXTENSIVE METAL WORK NEEDS TO BE DONE ON THIS BODY. THE FRAME IS ALSO RUST HOLE FREE. THIS CAR WAS STORED AWAY IN A WAREHOUSE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FOR MANY YEARS . SOMEONE PAINTED THE BODY GREEN BUT THE CAR IS STILL MOSTLY ORIGINAL. THE ORIGINAL COLOR WAS WHITE WITH A GREEN TOP AND GREEN AND WHITE INTERIOR. THIS LISTING IS FOR THE CAR AS IS.

THE DISTRIBUTOR IS THE CORRECT TACH DRIVE AND THE RADIO IS ALSO AN ORIGINAL 56 TOWN AND COUNTRY.

THIS CAR WOULD MAKE A VERY GOOD START FOR A SHOW QUALITY RESTORATION OR A VERY NICE DRIVER CAR. THE ENGINE RUNS WELL BUT HAS SOME LEAKS. THE CAR DOES DRIVE AND BRAKE BUT IT DOES NEED SOME WORK.
