For Sale 55 Chevy Belair 2dr sedan.Car was stored away inside since 1980 until recently.Recently brought out of storage and the following were done making it very road worthy.Newly rebuilt SBC 400 4 bolt main built to a 402 has less than 50 miles on rebuild.Has everything new with all GM performance parts including high flow heads,roller rockers and cam,new intake with 3 deuces all sent off and set up to match the intake with linkages,and fuel block and lines.Longer rods,new starter,new clutch headers all kinds of aluminum dress up parts on the motor.Should put out over 500 horse.Coupled up to a 3 speed column shift for that old school feel.Has all new brake lines,master cylinder,wheel cylinders and brakes.All new shocks and rear springs.Also has all new fuel lines from the tank to the motor.All new MSD ignition and distributor.Also has new Optima battery.Mechanically this hot rod is ready to go.Now for the appearance part.All paint has Been stripped to bare metal so nothing is hidden and with the exception of the rust infront of both rear tires this is a very rust free western Nebraska car.It does come with the patch panels to repair that rust.It does also have a spot of rust on the bottoms of both front fenders as shown in the pictures.The rockers(inner and outer),body mounts,truck floor.floor boards front and rear show absolutely no signs of rust.The upper trunk floor where the shocks mount was cracked from someone putting air shocks on in its past but has been repaired just needs dressed out and finished.It does have hail damage on entire car(a few pretty large) and the hood and deck lid are slightly wrapped from being sandblasted but hail damaged would need repaired anyway.It also has new rocker SS moldings still in the package.All lights work and with the exception of cracked pass.door glass and vent window all othe glass is good.Inside has a nice clean dash that has not been butchered up and wonder bar radio.Will need complete interior only has seat springs on front seat just paid $1200.00 for those but everything is there,like said earlier,floors are excellent.This car can be driven the way it is as a rat rod,or built as the buyer wants.Mechanically the work is all done so all you have to worry about is the body and interior.Chose the wheels you want,color you want and interior you want.Car is located in western Nebraska and can be stored inside for a reasonable amount of time but will need to be paid for in full.I have tried to tell everything I know about the car to the best of my knowledge.Any questions I can be reached at 308-631-2541.Can possibly help with delivery for $1.00/ mile in enclosed trailer.Good luck Happy bidding.Also I DO NOT NEED ANY HELP SELLING!!
