Here is a fresh barnfind that you won’t find every day! Only two owners not counting me and 52,000 original miles. Thecar is in very good condition for being 64 years old and it looks like it wasrepainted once in the 70’s. It has the 241 Red Ram Hemi with an automatictransmission. The car runs good with no smoke. It will move forward andbackwards under its own power. However, it does have some problems. Mechanical Fuel pump isn’t pumping fuel. IInstalled a new pump but still nothing. I ended up started the car with anelectric fuel pump and a gas can (which the car ran very nicely) Has a transmission fluid leak (rear seal or aline) Rear end leak (pinion seal??) Will need some work done on the wiring for thelights (only some work) No brakes (e brake still works)
This car has a very cool story.It was purchased brand new in Columbus Ohio in 1954, in the 70’s it was giftedto the original owner’s neighbor’s son. Then in 1985, the title was moved forthe neighbor’s mom to the gentlemen I purchased the vehicle from. The vehiclehas had no other actively since I purchased it a few months ago. The car hasspent most of the past 50 years moving for one warehouse to another. Also, inthat 50 year window, the vehicle was mostly kept inside and away from theelements. With a small amount of work and some elbow grease, you will becruising a sweet patina classic that you don’t see at every car show.
