Here is one really NICE Ford Coupe.I\'ll give you ALL the information you want about the car but HERE\'s a list to get you started Just painted the car a Brilliant Gold color from Sherwin Williams \"Dimension\" line of Base Coat / Clear Coat paint. There are Six coats here.
NO rust in this car. I sanded for right at 3 months on the body and interior window frames THEN stripped the dash bare before painting it.Got the car in 2009 and In early 2010 I began the rebuild of the car. 1953 Mercury Flathead V8 with a 0.030 Over Bore. (a Cir-clip had come off the pin in #7 cylinder so I decided to rebuild the engine completely)
I ported and relieved the heads and block where needed. The 3 Speed was rebuilt.
ALL flat glass, rubber seals are new. ALL other seals and weatherstrips are NEW too. (trunk, doors, hood to cowl, hood / radiator)
Front windshield is V butted. ALL other glass was replaced and has a light green tint. (2010)
NEW headliner and Wind Lace (2010)
NEW Clutch and Pressure Plate (2010)
NEW Master Cylinder and ALL four wheel cylinders replaced. (2016)
NEW soft Creamy White Vinyl Interior - TRUE Tuck N Roll, not rolled n pleated - Done just last summer (2016) Trunk is done too.
NEW Walker Glass Pack mufflers.
Shocks replaced in the 2010 rebuild.OH. I just thought; There are MANY extra parts that will go with this car. (Original radio, water pumps, seals, etc.)That\'s all I can think of right now. But if you have a question just ask.
Overall I think this is one of the smoothest running and driving cars I have had, ... but it\'s time to \"move on\".

Wipers work but vacuum is weak. I have a complete, original heater, that goes with the car. As well as many NEW parts I\'ve gathered over years;Water pumps and a lot more.

No defroster hooked up, yet, but there\'s not much need for them, here in southern Arizona. (parts are w/ new heater)

Also, the brakes were just gone through, last winter; new cylinders AND Master cylinder too. Car stopsGreat.
