This is a great find. All original, including the interior. Someone added a couple of different 8cyl Emblems however it has always had the original 6 cylinder engine.
It hasn't been driven on a regular basis for about 20 years. But it did have its brakes overhauled in 2015. While it was at the shop, it had carb, fuel pump, & ignition points redone... along with a lengthy list of other small road-worthy adjustments like battery cables, clean oil pan tray, etc.... Receipts available. This was done while it was owned by Paul Teutul of Paul Jr. Designs (Orange County Choppers TV Personality) This was almost $2,000.00 in "small repairs" alone.
It starts and runs fine around the yard. I have only put it on the road for like a mile to shift through all the gears. Everything operated fine but I did not trust the older tires to go further. But it runs & idles good for its age.
It has been looked over by a couple of paint & body professionals. They reported it to have only been painted a few times. Light fillers were used as part of a normalpre-paint preparation, not forany body damage or repairs.There is light rusting in some areas due to some exposure, never anyrot or holes, this vehicle is solid. Please see pictures and ask questions. The paint is old and cracking with scuffs and scrapes here & there. Notice the wrapping on the leaf-springs, Those are original. So is the interior.
Paint on both Fender skirts match & fasten good. It is missing the interior visors (brackets are there)& one fender skirt emblem is missing also.
