400 has the power, the muscle, the comfort and smoothness of a classic luxury
car. The numbers matching 400CI engine and Turbo 400 transmission produces 340hp
and a whopping 440ft-lbs of ground pounding torque. Dressed in its original
color of Scarlet Red (R), this baby underwent a complete frame-off restoration
that was completed in July of '95. Then, just months ago the car was repainted
again to a show quality finish which looks fantastic and is sure to turn heads.
The interior was changed from its original white vinyl (172) over to the current
Black vinyl (178) and had the Black vinyl top (158) added as well which really
helps give this gorgeous GS 400 the desired "sleeper" look. The meticulously
detailed engine bay really sets off the 400CI engine in its original form. The
dual exhaust with chrome tips help give this heavy weight the aggressive head
turning sound that speaks muscle all the way. Some photographs of the car being

1968 Buick GS-400 Convertible FOR SALE
1968 Buick GS-400 Convertible. A classic muscle car that runs perfectly (fast).
Only 2454 produced. I have owned this car for 20 years and have sunk my soul
into it. Original numbers matching engine was rebuilt by a master mechanic about
15 years ago. Everything was balanced and blueprinted. Interior was done about
10 years ago and has new carpet as well. Top was replaced then but the rear
glass is out. Automatic top works great. Exhaust and Transmission have also been
replaced over the years. New tires and battery. Automatic windows and came with
factory AC, but I don't have it hooked up right now. As with any old muscle car,
there are things it needs, but it is a short list and I can tell you everything
I know. I have the 1968 service manual and Chassis service manual as well that
tell you everything you would need to know. It looks great and is ready to
drive. I consistently see these cars asking prices between $19000 and $26000, so

1971 Buick GS Convertible
Buick GS convertible equipped with 455 stage 1 engine and 4 speed transmission.
This car was restored and is very close to stock including the #7040246 MD
quadrajet and cast iron exhaust manifolds. Engine modifications include forged
pistons, stainless steel valves, Crower cam with Rhoads lifters, TA oil pump and
Pertronix ignition in the stock #1112016 distributor housing. This how Buick
went "Fast With Class" back in the day.
